Summer Storyhour at LaSalle Library

Nine-year-old Terrralyn Carter wears an alligator hat and meets T-Boy the Alligator alongside Tim and Laura Allured during their Harvey Rabbit and Friends show last week at the LaSalle Parish Library in Jena as part of their Summer Storyhour! events. The Allureds are Louisiana natives who travel across the state and surrounding areas offering entertainment and valuable life lessons to children and supporting libraries through summer reading programs and more. The final special guest for Summer Storyhour! will be local children’s author M.L. Tarpley this Friday (July 16) who will present her “Think Like an Author” Interactive Show where the audience is asked to think like an author and write their own story LIVE! The Jena Library program will begin at 10 a.m. The Olla Library program will begin at 2 p.m. All ages are invited. Please mark your calendar for this wonderful upcoming event!
