The final Summer Storyhour at the LaSalle Parish Library was held last Friday, July 16, at both branches of the library in Jena and Olla. Local author M.L. Tarpley (Morgan Tarpley Smith) presented her “Think Like an Author” interactive show where children were taught to be an author and actually helped to construct a short story. Children volunteers then acted out the story to the enjoyment of everyone attending.
