COVID cases drop 50%

Louisiana COVID-19 numbers were cut in half during the past week as the state’s case counts continue its downward spiral. On September 13, the Louisiana Department of Health’s COVID Dashboard reported the state had 2,104 new cases across the state and on September 27 it reports only 1,002 new cases, a decrease of 1,102, nearly half.
