Jenaâs Zerrick Jones (9) stretches out to block a field goal attempt by Tioga only to have an inadvertent whistle allow the Indians another chance to kick the field goal. The second attempt was also blocked by Jones to keep Tioga with only 7 points in the Giantsâ 14-7 victory last Friday night in Tioga. The win moved Jena to 4-1 on the year as they head to Caldwell Thursday night to take on the district opener against the Spartans. (See story.)

Giants win a tight one at Tioga
The Jena Giants would come into this week riding sky high after picking up a big win at North Webster. This past Friday night the Giants would once again have to travel but this time it would be not far down the road to the Tioga Indians.
