Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards decided last week to extend the state-wide indoor mask mandate for another month, while acknowledging COVID numbers are declining. The extension keeps the face mask mandate for all citizens inside buildings, including school children in grades K-12 and colleges, until October 27, when the extension is set to expire.
