70 Years Ago October 25, 1951 Sparked by Miss Bobbie Tyler, Drum Major, whose gift with the baton last year placed her among the “Who’s Who” twirlers of America high schools, the Jena High Band and Majorettes will go to Winnfield Friday night to spirit the Jena Giants along the road to victory over the Winnfield Tigers and to put on a half-time show. Performing with Miss Tyler as Majorettes are Irene Shiel, Marinelle Coon, Nell Ezell, and June Basham.
