Workmen with T.L. Construction Company started work on a $709-thousand street improvement project in the town of Jena last week. Above the crew is working on East Bradford Street, which will consist of base course construction with an asphaltic concrete surface. Similar improvements will also be made to Beech and Beverly Streets. Also included in the project are Pine and Second Streets, which will see milling, deep patching where necessary and re-paving with asphaltic concrete.
