The Jena snowman watches over the town from his perch on the upper floor of the old Bank of Jena building in downtown Jena, which is now owned by CLB-The Community Bank. The snowman is a fixture of the town’s Christmas tradition and garners a mix of joy and horror alike from citizens. Community interest in the snowman is strong according to a post about him on The Jena Times Facebook page when as of press time drew well over 200 comments with citizen’s and former citizen’s thoughts and memories of the snowman.
