Goodpine Middle School students enter through the arch with smiles and waves to celebrate the Parade of Schools to kickoff the annual LaSalle Parish Special Olympics at Jena High’s Guy Campbell Memorial Stadium last Friday, April 1st. Hundreds of LaSalle Parish students participated in the Special Olympics, including many different events. (Full coverage of the day with photos and a list of winners will be in next week’s issue.)
