LaSalle Tigers lock down the #2 seed for LHSAA playoffs

LaSalle Tiger Bug Lawson (24) runs back safely to first base during the LaSalle vs St. Maryâs away game last week in Natchitoches. The game resulted in a 10 to 1 loss for LaSalle. The Tigers are ranked #2 in state standings and received a bye for the first round of playoffs. LaSalle will face the winner of #15-ranked Montgomery and #18-ranked White Castle before May 3 in the second round of state playoffs. Check the Jena Times Facebook page for the latest update.

The LaSalle Tiger Baseball team has locked down the #2 seed for the 1A State Playoffs. The Tigers received a first-round bye and will play the winner of #15 Montgomery and #18 White Castle. The second-round game will be held in Olla and must be played by May 3rd. The Tigers fin-ished the regular season 13-8 overall and 4-1 in district 3-1A play.
