As my 17-year-old enters his final summer prior to beginning his senior year in high school, my mind went back some 35 years ago to my final summer before my final year of high school. What prompted this memory was a parent meeting that was held for all parents of players on the Jena Giant football team held recently by Head Coach Jay Roark and his coaching staff.
