A new parking lot in front of LaSalle High School was completed last week in a combined effort between the LaSalle Parish Police Jury, the LaSalle Parish School Board and the town of Olla. The project was in conjunction with the newly paved roads (parts of Blake Street and Gum Street) leading to the school, gymnasium and the LaSalle Parish Library-Olla Branch.
