Drax leads LFA educator’s tour in Urania

Draxâs LaSalle Bioenergy biomass pellet plant is viewed from the air. Drax partnered with the Louisiana Forestry Association (LFA) to guide their annual Educatorâs Tour across its pellet plant in Urania. The LFA Educatorâs Tour is used to inform educators of Louisianaâs renewable resources, including water, wildlife and woodlands.

Renewable energy company Drax partnered with the Louisiana Forestry Association (LFA) to guide their annual Educator’s Tour across its pellet plant in Urania. The tour was guided by members of Drax’s sustainable forestry team Alexandra Sullivan, Bretta Palmer, Aaron Clark and Steven Galloway, who took the participants through Drax’s procurement, pelleting and shipping processes at its LaSalle Bioenergy pellet plant.
