The children from Vacation Bible School at Temple Baptist Church raised $308.88 in their offerings during VBS held July 18-20. The money raised was donated to the LaSalle Parish APPLES Program to assist in helping needy children and families with school supplies for the upcoming year. Missy McEntyre, Homeless Liaison for the LaSalle Parish School System (third from right), accepted the donation and expressed appreciation to the church and kids for their generosity. The children had a friendly competition between the boys and girls at raising the most money during VBS. The week ended with a tie, so both the TBC Youth Leader Colby Ferrington and TBC Pastor Justin Caples received a pie in the face as part of the competition.
