Jena native wins title of Miss Avoyelles Patriotic 2022

Jena native Kensly Mason won the title of Miss Avoyelles Patriotic 2022 on June 25 atthe VFW in Marksville. She is a 2019 graduate of Jena High School and attended Blue Cliff College in Alexandria to become a licensed esthetician and makeup artist. She currently resides in Pineville and works as a bridal makeupartist/esthetician. “I was honestly so shocked I had won because I had many other beautiful and deserving girls in my age division,” Mason said regarding her pageant win. “I’m very thankful for the opportunity to serve as Miss Avoyelles Patriotic 2022. Most importantly, I would like to encourage everyone to honor and support the veterans in their communities! I will participatein all veteran-related events in Marksville including Veteran’s Day in November.”
