Angola Prison Rodeo returns this October

The fall Angola Prison Rodeo, also known as the “Wildest Show in the South” is back each Sunday in October, offering the best in prison rodeo excitement. Warden Tim Hooper invites the public to view the wildest rodeo show in the South as Angola inmate-cowboys compete in heart-stopping events like: Convict Poker, Wild Cow Milking, Bull Riding, and the world-famous Guts-n- Glory. Tickets are $20 and all seats are reserved. Gates open at 8 a.m. for fans to enjoy hobby crafts and festivities, with the rodeo starting at 1 p.m. Only rodeo tickets will be sold. No separate Arts and Crafts tickets will be available, although the arts and crafts will be available.
