Lester Francis has officially announced his candidacy for re-election to one of the five seats on the Jena Town Council, subject to the action of voters at the November 8th general election. In making the announcement, Francis issued the following statement to voters in Jena: “I am a lifelong resident of LaSalle Parish and have lived the last 29 years at my present residence at 1005 East Randall Street in Jena.
