Freda Jean Mc-Farlen, 59, of Jena, passed from this life on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at her home in Jena. Freda was born on October 20, 1962 in Marksville to the union of her parents, Eugene McNeal and Yvonne “Bonnie” Moses Mc- Neal. She was a member of the Pentecostals of Alexandria. She really enjoyed designing flowers. In her younger years, she worked in her mother’s flower shop. Later, she opened her own and became the owner and operator of “Special Occasions Florist”, where she worked for over 15 years. The first location was in Jena and then later moved to Centerpoint, Alexandria, and then Pineville. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life. She will be dearly missed by many.
