The Jena Town Council’s regular February meeting last week focused on the upcoming regulation from the Louisiana Department of Health requiring the addition of generators at town well sites. Superintendent Ronny Steele reported that in order for the Town to comply with requirements, and improve the water base score received last month, four of the five well sites have to be equipped with generators, the only exclusion being the well at Jena High School.
