Olla-Standard Elementary second graders explore a covered wagon like ones used by pioneers headed west. The students completed their unit study on westward expansion and through the event were able to see the wagon, observe tools and try homemade pioneer biscuits made in a Dutch oven.

OES students learn about pioneers
February 2023 The Pinewood Garden Club met for its monthly meeting at the Centennial Cultural Center in Olla on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 9:30 am, for fellowship and refreshments. The business meeting was called to order by President Ruby Moody, followed by the Collect and the Pledge of Allegiance.
