The LaSalle Lady Tigers and Head Coach Tanner Beavers celebrate their victory over the #11-ranked East Iberville Lady Tigers after the second round playoff game in Olla last week. The game resulted in a 50 to 45 victory for #6-ranked LaSalle, entering them into the quarterfinals against #3-ranked Oak Grove. The Lady Tigers had not been this far in playoffs for basketball in several decades.

LaSalle Lady Tigers tie historic mark
The LaSalle Lady Tigers tied a historic mark this remarkable season. All week it has been discussed about the last time the Lady Tiger Basketball team competed in the quarterfinal game for the LHSAA playoffs. The final agreed upon year was the early 90s and they lost to Oak Grove in an overtime game. It is only fitting that the Lady Tigers got the opportunity to compete against Oak Grove in the Quarterfinals some 30 years later.
