Don Hudnall, Sr.

Don Hudnall, Sr., 82, of West Monroe, passed peacefully from this life on February 24, 2023 in the presence of his devoted wife and family. He was born October 26, 1940 in Jena to the union of his parents, Nelson and Irma Hudnall.

    Don Hudnall, Sr., 82, of West Monroe, passed peacefully from this life on February 24, 2023 in the presence of his devoted wife and family.

    He was born October 26, 1940 in Jena to the union of his parents, Nelson and Irma Hudnall.

    He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a very generous and giving person, loved helping others. He was a friend to many. He was a very successful business owner, owning several businesses over the years in the communities of Ouachita Parish. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

    Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home.

    Interment followed at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.

    He is preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife of 60 years, Grace Bradford Hudnall; his children, Don Hudnall, Jr. (Tara), Steve Hudnall, Jennifer Hutton (Greg) and Buffy Massey (Michael); six grandchildren: Connor and Hannah Hudnall, Nick and Megan Hutton, Hunter (Karen) and Sarah Massey; and his siblings: Barbara Windham, Marcia Killingsworth, and Bo Hudnall (Sherry).

    Pallbearers were Don Hudnall, Jr., Steve Hudnall, Connor Hudnall, Greg Hutton, Nick Hutton and Hunter Massey.
