Hanging out with the flowers
Spring officially began March 20th, but the season doesn’t show up and show out until plants, flowers, trees and gardens begin to take on new life and explode in an epiphany of color. Fields are plowed, seeds are planted, and the process of sowing seeds begins. People plant in good faith, trusting that their efforts will yield a harvest of tomatoes, cucumbers, beans and an array of other homegrown treasures. Flower gardeners flock to local nurseries like bees to the bloom to purchase and replenish what the winter months have taken.
