As most of you know I work for a Hospice organization in Monroe as a Chaplain. After about twenty-five years for three different organizations, I have come to realize that most Hospice personnel view the Chaplain as the low man on the totem pole. There have been many times that I have felt like what they wanted from me was to be quite and let the professional handle the patients. That is until a crisis comes and who do they call – the Chaplain.
