Starting with the FBI’s outrageous politically manufactured raid on former President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida and accelerating exponentially since he was indicted on federal charges resulting from the retention of records at Mar-a-Lago, I have heard a growing chorus of this refrain from tens of highly experienced Republicans and conservatives: “While I like DeSantis, we must vote for Trump to not only save our nation but send a message to these corrupt, power-hungry elites.”
