Lacey Smith

Lacey Blaze Hayman Smith, 24, of Olla, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in Olla.

She was born July 29, 1999.

Lacey had a big, beautiful heart and spirit. She was a gentle soul who showed her two babies were everything to her and brought unsurpassed joy to her life. A treasured daughter, sister, granddaughter and niece. She enjoyed spending time with the people that she loved and her capacity to love was enormous. She had a contagious smile, a beautiful face and infectious laughter that brightened whatever room she was in and left an indelible impression on those around her. Her passing will leave an emptiness that can never be filled in the hearts and arms of those who loved her. Heaven has gained an Angel.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Aimwell Pentecostal Church, with Bros. Kirk Mayo and Cody Mayo officiating.

Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Rhinehart, LA, under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Douglas Poole, Buddy Hayman and David and Virginia Kendrick.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Krewe D’Wayne Smith and Kanen Kyrie Smith; her parents, Jason and Kristy Hayman and Sherrie Kendrick; sisters, Ashley Hayman (Justin May), Harley Hayman, Kirsten Deville, Victoria Morace and Kellie Brook; brother, Jacob Hayman; grandmothers, Mary Poole and Gracie Mitchell and Gary; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Pallbearers were Jason Hayman, Daniel Hayman, Don Hayman, Jordy Mayo, James Kendrick and Bryon Ford.

Honorary pallbearers were Jacob Hayman, Justin May, Elijah Howell, Brock Nugent, Oscar McKlemurry and Ernest Joseph Sears III.
