William Scott Herron Jr. aka “Cool”, 73, of Jonesville, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Alexandria, LA.
He was born May 9, 1950 in Jonesville, LA.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Church of God, Jonesville, with the Revs. Chad Franklin and Tim Crooks officiating.
Interment will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery, Olla, LA, under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Herron Sr.; mother, Gladys Herron; sister, Joy Williamson; brother, Mike Herron; and granddaughter, Desiree Boddie.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Marilyn Herron; son, Heath Herron; daughter, Latricia Morris; stepsons, Shane and AJ Boddie; sister, Susan Steele; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
