Blake Phillips Seeks RSCC

Blake Phillips has officially announced he is seeking re-election for Louisiana Republican State Central Committee subject to Republican voters on March 23, 2024.

In making his announcement, Phillips issued the following statement to voters: “Dear Friends and My Fellow Republicans, I officially qualified for re-election with the LaSalle Parish Clerk of Court for the Louisiana Republican State Central Committee (RSCC), 32nd Senatorial District Division C. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to serve the last four years as your representative with the state Republican Party. This position is not widely talked about, however it is vitally important to the political process because the RSCC is the governing body of the Republican party and works to elect republican candidates to our federal, state, and local offices.

Over the past few years, our achievements have been very significant, from electing a Republican governor to making strides in securing Republican representation in every statewide office as well as growing our conservative supermajority in the legislature.

My decision to qualify was based on a couple factors. First, I want to continue to be an active participant in the election process and I believe this opportunity allows me to serve my community in a meaningful, impactful way.

Secondly, this district encompasses all Republican voters of LaSalle Parish which is one of the most conservative parishes in our state. We must have a strong local voice to be heard among the many other Republicans.

Thirdly, I believe my passion to serve with integrity, humility, and courage each day has and will be for the people of LaSalle Parish.

Lastly, my work in government and the time I have spent volunteering with several regional campaigns makes me uniquely qualified to contribute positively as a member in the Republican State Central Committee. When re-elected, I will continue focusing on collaboration, grassroots engagement, and a commitment to conservative principles in order to strengthen and grow the Republican party and its position in the state to ensure a brighter future for LaSalle Parish and Louisiana.

I am inspired by friends, role models, and colleagues to aim high and to be of service to others. I look forward to working hard and representing LaSalle parish as your Republican representative on the State Central Committee. Together we can continue to put forth and elect strong conservatives to our federal, state and local offices. I humbly ask for your vote on March 23rd.”
