The 2024 Forestry Forum is set to take place Friday, January 12, at the West Monroe Convention Center and local officials are encouraging those in the forestry industry to attend.
According to Luke Stamper of the Catahoula office of LSU AgCenter, the informative half-day event will feature sessions on forest products in Northern Louisiana, Pine mortality in Northeast Louisiana, a projection of the industry in 2024 and a Drax representative will be there discussing future-positive ambitions to achieving nature-positive outcome.
The event will begin with registration from 8-8:30 a.m. with the program starting at 8:30 and ending at 11:30 a.m.
