Steamboat Park in Harrisonburg received new flag poles and new flags and a special dedication ceremony was held Thursday, July 2 with many in attendance. The new additions, located at the entrance to the old Ouachita River Bridge, were donated by the Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office as part of America’s 250th Celebration. Along with new America and Louisiana flags, commemorative plaques were placed. Shown above, attendees stand at attention as Fallon Crum sings the National Anthem.
