Waller David “Buddy” Hughart Jr., 72, of Trout, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Medical Center.
He was born February 10, 1951. He loved LSU Sports and his family.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 8, 2024, at Temple Baptist Church, Jena, LA, with Bro. Justin Caples officiating.
Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery, Jena, under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Waller David and Betty Ivy Hughart; and sister, Clara Elizabeth “Snooks” Lepine.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Pamela Hughart; son, Chris Hughart (Mandy); daughter, Amy Simpson (Billy); grandchildren, Cara and Carson Hughart; and a host of inlaws and friends.
Pallbearers were Tyler Gray, Nathan Williams, Jarvis Andrews, Ryan Lee, Danny Spicer, Charlie Ferrington, Jason Robertson, Gary Wilbanks and Joe Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers were Carson Hughart and Ben Ketchens.
