Daniel Norman, 81, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at his home.

He was born January 31, 1942.

He retired as a Millwright in 1983 and moved from Texas to Georgetown, LA the same year. He went to work for The Town Talk in 1984 and was known as the “Paper Man.” He retired after 22 years with The Town Talk. Daniel loved outside and mowing and being inside watching western movies.

A visitation was held from 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Jena, LA.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 63 years, Ruby of Georgetown, LA; two children; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
