Ron Bringol came into my life at an early age. He married my big sister Jean in 1963. I was a seven-year-old ring bearer at their wedding. So I wouldn’t cut up during the ceremony, Jean made me a solemn promise. She knelt down looked me dead in the eyes and said, “If you act up during the wedding, I will never speak to you again for the rest of your life, do you understand?”
