Mark Your Calendars!

All military, active and veterans, along with all youth wearing a baseball or softball uniform jersey, will be admitted FREE for the Jena Giants’ district baseball game on Thursday, April 11.

On this special Military Appreciation Night and Future Giant Night, all military and jersey wearing youth will join the Giants on the field for the National Anthem.

Giant Head Coach Clay McGuffee said the team has planned the night to honor all military and recognize all youth players.

“This will be a very special night that everyone will want to be at,” he said. “We have a great surprise planned for that night that all of Jena will be talking about the next day. That’s all I’m going to say… you’ll just have to be there to know what it is.”

McGuffee noted the game will start at 6 p.m. but he asked for all military and youth to be at the park no later than 5:45 p.m., preferably at 5:30 p.m.

The Jena Giants will play the Caldwell Spartans in a key District 2-3A matchup following the pre-game festivities.
