“Love the Boot” Week Kicks Off
Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser is joined by Rocksey the Raccoon, KLB Executive Director Susan Russell and Miss Louisiana Makenzie Scroggs to kick off the 2024 Love the Boot Week as more than 700 cleanup and beautification events are schedule in all 64 parishes from April 20-28.

“Love the Boot” Week Kicks Off

Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) and Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser kicked off the second annual Love the Boot Week last week in Baton Rouge, announcing over 700 cleanup and beautification events will take place in all 64 parishes during the week from April 20- 28, 2024. Love the Boot Week is Louisiana’s largest litter removal and beautification effort held during Earth Week. Everyone in every parish is invited to register a cleanup or beautification event and/or sign-up to volunteer at LoveThe-Boot.org.
