Norma Adams

Norma Dell Stewart Adams, 74, passed from this life on Friday, April 19, 2024, at her residence with her loved ones by her side.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2024, at Pine Hill Baptist Church, with Bro. Corey Fowler officiating and Bro, Stacey Pittman assisting.

Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery, Olla, LA, under the direction of Riser Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Trent Johnson, Rodney George, James Bratton, Benny Bratton, Aaron Peoples, Bradley Poole, Cody Knighten and Brandon Cahoon.

She was born September 23, 1949 in Columbia, LA to the union of her parents, Eugene Stewart and Ethel Foster Stewart.

Norma loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed doing puzzles, drinking coffee and taking her daily naps. She would sit outside, feed the birds and watch the hummingbirds play.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Tommy Lynn Adams; and two brothers, Donnie Stewart and Herman Stewart.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of over 52 years, Roger Dale “Pete” Adams Sr.; son, Roger Dale “Petie” Adams Jr. (Janiece); brothers, George Stewart (Sherry), James Stewart (Sherry), Richard Stewart (Bonnie), Buck Stewart (Donna); sister, Joyce Bratton; grandchildren, Kristina George, Tiffany Adams and Brittany Stephens (Conner); great-grandchildren, Carson Knighten, Kason Stephens and Alina Stephens.
