A kind smile can always be found on the face of well-known and highly respected Tullos resident Mr. Fred Book. Born and bred on Larto Lake in neighboring Catahoula Parish, Mr. Fred has spent the majority of his lifetime serving the residents of the Tullos community through various public service roles and offices, from Town Alderman to Tullos mayor, to currently serving on the LaSalle Parish School Board. He also worked as a machinist for 42 years before he retired. He has built his life on family, community and church and at 78 years old, his focus is still there.
