Several members of the Jena High School Giants baseball team continue to receive honors long after the season has concluded.

In recent weeks, the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) and the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association (LBCA) released their All-State and All-Region teams with several Giants making the lists.

In the Class 3A LSWA All-State Baseball Team, outfielder senior Zerrick Jones was selected for the First Team. Honorable Mention honors went to Jacob Belcher, Calex Campbell, Caden Mursch and Brayden Oakes.

In the LBCA All-Region Team, Jacob Belcher was selected as Utility Player for Region 3.

Belcher also represented Jena High school in the LBCA 2024 Underclass State Games, playing for Team North. The games were held June 3-5 at Lou St. Amant Field on the campus of ULM in Monroe.
