Louisiana Auto Insurance It’s Not Funny

Louisiana Auto Insurance It’s Not Funny

If you live in Louisiana, you understand that we have an extraordinary problem with auto insurance rates. There is not much that you and I can do to change this broken system. Louisiana legislators are in charge of this problem. Yet when I watch the television, personal injury lawyers are encouraging you to sue today! If you are injured in an auto accident through no fault of your own, you are insured by the Louisiana driver who must maintain their liability policy at all times. “Uh-Oh.” Many Louisiana drivers cannot afford liability yet we were promised, doubly promised, by the State of Louisiana every driver will have G.L. insurance. That is another problem. TV lawyers will even tell you “Do not call if you may be at fault”! After all, Louisiana is 50th of all the states in the cost of insurance. A handful of lawyers see an opportunity in this and buy oodles of TV coverage showing clients that do not appear injured claiming to have gotten thousands of dollars!!! It is not true.
