Dirt now fills the former swimming pool in Olla after it was demolished for safety reasons back in June. Plans for a new pool are now underway with construction to begin sooner than later.

When the public swimming pool at the LaSalle Recreation District No. 22 (LRD) was removed and the holes that were left filled in with dirt back in June, the LRD 22 Board gave a promise to the residents of Olla and beyond that a new pool would eventually be rebuilt.
