GPMS Students that earned the PBIS reward participated in a black out dance party recently! This is a reward students earned for exhibiting good behavior for the first nine weeks. The students that did not participate were not punished - they just did not earn the reward as stated in the GPMS handbook. PBIS is a proactive approach schools use to improve school safety and promote positive behavior. The focus of PBIS is prevention, not punishment.
