Local Boy Scout Troop 14 and Cub Scout Pack 14 recently held a can food drive where they collected 851 pounds of food which was donated to the LaSalle Baptist Ministry Center (Mission House) to be distributed during the Thanksgiving holiday. They also filled the Little Free Pantry located by The Jena Times office building. Scout leaders thanked everyone who assisted in the annual event which benefited those right here in LaSalle Parish.
