LaSalle Parish native and current Catahoula Parish resident Ronald “Rip” Cannaday is now part of the musical archives of history to forever be remembered for his great accomplishments and contributions to traditional music thanks to the efforts of the Southern Music Research Center (SMRC) of Birmingham, Alabama.
