The GEO Group, Inc. conducted its first Community Relations Luncheon of the year last week at The Strand Theater in downtown Jena. Quarterly, GEO’s Facility Administrator, Shad Rice, addresses various community leaders to provide updates concerning activities at the Central Louisiana ICE Processing Center and to encourage attendees to share their updates on community matters. During the meeting, Rice introduced himself and provided an overview of the organization’s mission.
