The LHSAA has released the softball playoff brackets, which begin this week.

Both the Jena Lady Giants and the LaSalle Lady Tigers will play next week as they both received byes for the first round that begins this week. (Higher seed is always the home/host team.)

The LaSalle Lady Tigers, #1 in Division IV Non-Select, will play the winner of the #16 South Plaquemines and #17 Plain Dealing early next week in the second round in Olla. A win will have them host the quarterfinal round and a win in that game will have them playing in Sulphur Friday, May 2, for the semifinals.

The Jena Lady Giants, #3 in Division III Non-Select, will play the winner of the #14 Mamou and #19 Westlake early next week in the second round in Jena. A win will send them to the quarterfinal round and a win in that game will have them playing in Sulphur Friday, May 2, for the semifinals.

All LHSAA state championship games will be played Saturday, May 3, at Frasch Park in Sulphur.
