Briscoe and Tommye Price will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 5. Shortly after both completed their college degrees, they were married on June 5, 1965, in Shreveport, LA, and like all newly married couples, they launched into a world of their own. Both agree that so far, it has been quite an adventure having done things and been places that were not even thought of in those early days. Ms. Tommye says that 60 years on the calendar is indeed a long time, but as she looks back, it is like a snap of her fingers. Briscoe says finding the right lady was a big plus too. The couple has two children, John and Meredith, and three grandchildren, Patrick, Shane and Ouray.
