Kids used to be tougher than they are today. I don’t write this disrespectfully; I just remember a time when doctors’ visits were sparse and casual medical treatment was left up to the average parent. Having no medical training or knowledge, parents did what they could then trusted mother nature to take course and recovery to take place.
