State to Have Float in Rose Bowl Parade

For the fifth year in a row, Louisiana will roll in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, and on the screens of audiences across the world. The 2026 parade theme is “The Magic in Teamwork,” celebrating that by working together we can achieve outcomes so much richer than we can ever experience as individuals. In keeping with this theme, the Louisiana float “Gulf to Gumbo” recognizes all the individuals who contribute to Louisiana’s most famous dish. The float features a shrimp boat, fresh Louisiana seafood, and a largerthan-life chef bringing it all together.
