Well, it has certainly been a historic last few weeks in our fair town and parish. First, our Jena Giants football team plowed through all comers from LHSAA Division III to earn a trip to the State Championship Game in the Superdome. Knowing that it would take a nearly perfect performance to beat Sterlington, we came up just a bit short in our run for the title. A couple of mental mistakes, a couple of inopportune turnovers that the Panthers converted to points were the difference in the game. Congratulations to Sterlington on their win, but most of all Congratulations to our Jena Giants for a stellar 2025 season. Thank you all for the memories.
