The Jena High School Band performed at the District II Concert Festival on March 26 at Tioga High School, where all band performing were evaluated by three independent adjudicators on three musical selections of their choosing and one selection they have never seen for sight-reading. The JHS Band had an outstanding performance, scoring one Superior and two Excellent ratings on their prepared pieces and a Superior in sight-reading. The Jena Band is comprised of musicians from JHS and Jena Jr. High School. They are directed by Aaron Wallace.
